Bathing News Loves Odina Bikinis
day one of learning to s.u.p. at my good old home ocean! beautiful calm day, with a touch of
freeeezing water, sting rays and little sand sharks…but i managed with my good luck xoxo
nails and jane pope necklace. decided i’ll be needin a waterproof camera for the deeper sea
standing up and falling and capture underwater world…with the plans i’ve got coming up, wink
wink, s.u.p. is much needed…it’s a whole other world under there and gaaaaww is it magical.
my new odina surf in the curl and wave catcher bikinis are perfect for any water sport activ-
ity! these suckers stayed in place, i didn’t need to adjust once, and the back strapping truly
helps! great colors and they’ve got the bum cut down for sure. being “one with the earth, ocean
and future” truly fits as odina has created these kini’s using recycled plastic and reclaimed
fabrics aiming to go 100% eco consh! freezing out of the water, luckily i had my cozy element
eden cropped hoodie with thumb holes. the so-cal based element eden advocates are “a team of
crafts women, including artists, musicians, filmmakers, social activists, environmentalists,
poets, designers, skaters and many other creative and inspiring individuals,” accomplishing
their goal to “inspire and present a broader and more realistic definition of what it means to
be a woman-something with real substance and depth.” what a world of goodness! xxx and love to

Odina at Eco Emmy’s Extravaganza
Odina suits are going to be at the Eco Emmy’s event at a Private Estate in Beverly Hills on September 16 -17.
Here is a recap from Eco-Hollywood Earth Day in April. Another great event where Odina was featured and received great response. Look for more great press soon! You might even see your favorite celeb wearing recycled plastic swimwear before you know it. Odina is changing the world’s eye on swimsuits.
Alison finds time for Stand Up Paddling

Rocking her new Coral Cove Girl bottoms and Coral In the Curl top she seems to effortlessly moving through the water. What a great work out, surfing hard and looking great! What a day!
Styling in L.A. for Cheap
Being a fashionista can be quite difficult some times. Its time consuming and very expensive. Now you can get that access that all the buyers have to amazing styles in one place. The California Market Center offers a sample sale every last Friday of the month. I know I shouldn’t be telling you about this but, looking great shouldn’t break your bank. Stay posted for our sample sales as well, being eco can have its price, but we will do what we can to get you cute swimwear for a good price and it will be good for environment too. Winning on all fronts. Look for us at the Cardiff Classic in San Diego or Sacred Craft in Del Mar. We will have a great selection of Samples at those events with amazing prices! Odina shows off Eco-Friendly Surfboards
Alison our team rider has been working with sustainablesurf.org to help show people how eco-friendly surfboards are made. Probably the best person to do it too, living a low impact life, wearing Odina suits made from recycled plastics and reclaimed fabrics, surfing boards made from soy based foam, and living in a house powered by solar panels. Even her clothes tend to be made from organic cotton and bamboo fibers. She is truly pushing the bounds of an eco-friendly lifestyle.
Unique LA recap
Odinasurf was repping hard last week at Unique LA. The show itself featured some of the west coast’s best up and coming designers and lines. A few of our favorites included a vintage sunglasses line, a handbag line made from vintage fabrics by Michelle Mcreary named Vintage Remade and a couple streetwear lines: one named Continuous out of Huntington Beach, who we hope to be working more with in the future and the other F.A.Z.E., which stands for Fearless and Zealous Everyday–check em out! Odinasurf was honored to invited to an event with so many talented individuals and look forward to the next show!

Unique LA will be bringing together the best designers based out of Los Angeles. Products are either manufactured in L.A. or the company must have a strong green initiative to be able to be produced else where. Ranging from products such as chocolaty treats all the way to our eco-friendly bikinis. Odina is very honored to be apart of this show. Having a very fashion forward style of suit design, material and manufacturing, Odina will be a perfect fit. There is a section devoted to the companies that are going green. The whole idea of purchasing locally is amazing! Bringing together some of the best artisans in the area and showing people LA still has style! All the uniqueness of Melrose, Abbot Kinney, the depths of Downtown and even the cute boutiques of the Riviera Village in Redondo. One stop style House! Odina will be having specials on all of their suits, even the brazilian style bottoms we keep selling out on, ohhh yes the all the ruching you could ask for and the braided sides that you can’t seem to find will be there as well. The cutest styles at the best prices.

Odina suits at the Redondo Beach Riviera Village Festival this weekend June 25-26!

Odina goes to the CALA show at the St. Francis Hotel
Next week will be very exciting for the Odina street team. They are heading up to San Francisco to the CALA trade show. This year, it is being held at the St. Francis Hotel in Union Square, a Westin so you know its got some style. Odina will be presenting its 2011 and 2012 swimwear lines that will have some new colors and new styles! The 2012 swimsuits are filled with more bright colors and even more vibrant accents. The best way to stand out while you are surfing this summer!
We will be at the Westin St. Francis, in Room 907 Monday June 20th and Tuesday the 21st from 9 am – 5pm. We hope you can stop by and check out our styles. If you can’t make it don’y hesitate to shoot us an email. Our sales team has decided to take the scenic route home. Going along the coast from San Francisco back down to Los Angeles to explore the coast. There should plenty of sales calls but tons of sun don’t worry!
